Refund Policy

1. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and service providers:

Cancellation 24+ hours before scheduled time

100% refund - Full amount will be refunded

Cancellation 12-24 hours before scheduled time

50% refund - Half of the booking amount will be refunded

Cancellation less than 12 hours before scheduled time

No refund - Booking amount will not be refunded

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel your booking through:

  • Your account dashboard under "My Bookings"
  • Calling our customer support at +91 99620 00300
  • Emailing us at support@opiniq.in

3. Refund Processing Time

Once your cancellation is approved:

  • Refund will be initiated within 24-48 hours
  • Amount will be credited to your original payment method
  • Bank processing may take 5-7 business days
  • You will receive an email confirmation once refund is processed

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Sample has already been collected
  • Test has been processed in the laboratory
  • Customer was not available at scheduled time (no-show)
  • Incorrect information provided by customer
  • Customer refused sample collection after technician arrival

5. Rescheduling

Instead of cancellation, you can reschedule your appointment:

  • Free rescheduling if done 12+ hours before scheduled time
  • One-time free rescheduling allowed per booking
  • Subject to availability of time slots
  • Contact customer support for rescheduling assistance

6. Failed Sample Collection

If sample collection fails due to technical reasons:

  • Free re-collection will be scheduled
  • Full refund if re-collection is not possible
  • No charges for failed collection attempts

7. Incorrect Test Results

In rare cases of incorrect or compromised test results due to laboratory error, we will provide a free retest at no additional cost. Refunds for such cases will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

8. Package Bookings

For health package bookings, the same cancellation policy applies. Partial cancellations (canceling individual tests from a package) are not allowed. The entire package must be cancelled.

9. Payment Gateway Charges

Payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable. The refund amount will be net of any transaction fees charged by payment processors.
